ReefLog is a reef aquarium tracking tool. Use it honestly, don't abuse it, and understand that AI recommendations are suggestions — not professional advice. During beta, things may break. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms.
By creating a ReefLog account, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
ReefLog is currently in public beta. This means:
We recommend maintaining your own records of critical tank parameters during the beta period. ReefLog should complement your record-keeping, not replace it entirely.
You agree not to:
ReefLog uses AI (powered by Anthropic Claude) to analyze water parameters and provide recommendations.
AI recommendations are suggestions based on general reef keeping knowledge — they are not professional aquatic, veterinary, or scientific advice. Never make significant changes to your reef tank based solely on AI output without applying your own judgment. Reef tank chemistry is complex — a recommendation that works for one tank may harm another. ReefLog is not liable for any livestock loss, equipment damage, or other harm resulting from following AI recommendations.
You own your tank data. You grant ReefLog a license to store and process your data to provide the service. When you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Payments are not yet active during beta. When payments launch:
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS-IS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI recommendations will be accurate, or that data will never be lost.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REEFLOG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF LIVESTOCK OR EQUIPMENT DAMAGE. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia, Canada.
